Dreams: Drowning

I was walking along a path in an area of town that I'm unfamiliar with.  I was walking so that the river in the city was on my left and houses on the right.  The river was blocked off with old worn out boards set up as a fence.  After walking for a bit a big dog came running up to me and started barking and jumping at me.  He pushed me into the fence and it collapsed and I fell and rolled into the river.  I was being washed along by the current and basically drowning for quite some time.  It seemed as though I passed out at some point and came to in a big building filled with people.  There was a woman wearing a bright orange reflector jacket and she was trying to revive me.  When I asked what happened she said she patrols the waterfront area because they have a daycare in their building and they don't want anything to happen to the kids.  I thanked her over a dozen times as I warmed up and then she said to me "don't I know you from somewhere?  Were you in one of my classes?"  I don't recognize her from anywhere so we leave it be.  Once dried off and warm I just walk out of the building to walk back home.  Then I woke up.........

Seems interesting to me.  Not sure what it all means.

Analysis:

This is common dream by many people. Drowning is an overwhelming feeling and lack of control. Because of what is going on in your life and the fact that it is out of your control you need to let go and accept the outcome. Orange is a color which represents happiness and positiveness so I believe this outcome will be good. Hang on, you wait is almost over. Your dreams are trying to tell you that your emotions are consuming you and will drag you under if you don't let go of the anxiousness.
